Fuji XF 1655mm F28 Autofocus As previously noted, the XF 1655mm sports premium linear motors in its autofocus design, and these give the lens an excellent autofocus performance I should note that I did my review on the Fuji XT3 , which, at the time of this review, is Fuji's newest and most sophisticated autofocusing cameraThe Fuji 1655 is the same 28 from 16 to 55 While the Fuji 1855 is f/28 only at the 18mm end, when you twist and go to 55 it goes to f/4 When zooms are not constant apertures, and you twist the barrel the exposure WILL change because it is slower at the 55 end It is not the case with the 1655, it's a fast 28 from 16 to 55 I quick tested the 1655 on the same scene of the 1855 and of the 1680 and there is no match 1655 is better Much better Is huge, is heavy but on my XT3 with metal grip is quite ok I lived for years without OIS and his lack will not be an issue (I think) but the dof of the f28
